Cleckheaton’s eight man 8-15 team managed to clinch the Club’s first silverware of the season against local rivals East Bierley on Saturday. Rawdon Away Result

The team did well this evening away to Rawdon. Carl Harrison won 3 and 2, Stuart Whaley lost 5 and 3, Nick wood lost 6 and 5, but Noel Roberts came from 2 down with 3 to play, to win one up. Four points each is no disgrace away from home and we have a chance to take advantage at home

8-15 Teams Celebrate

The 8-15 Section celebrated two trophies in April to begin what Vice Captain, Mark Anderson hopes will be the first of many more to come. 2015 League Campaign Ends in Tension

After losing 8-0 at Clayton on the penultimate week, the team needed to gain more points than Shipley at the final week’s return fixture at home to Clayton. Cleckheaton kicked the season off at home to local rivals East Bierley in the inaugural 8-15 Trophy between the two clubs. There was a good friendly atmosphere for what will become a firm fixture to open the season each year.
